Chris is a licensed Landscape Architect in Mississippi and has been involved in all phases of land planning and land development. His scope of involvement has covered projects ranging from industrial site development and commercial land planning to master planning and site evaluation. He received a B.L.A. degree from Mississippi State University in 1975 and later completed graduate studies at The Univesity of Mississippi, receiving a Master of Urban and Regional Planning in 1983.

Chris has served as a member of the Landscape Architecture Advisory Committee to the State Board of Architecture and has held several positions, including president, in the state chapter of The American Society of Landscape Architects.
